That’s a good question, and there seems to be more pluggers than I can count these days. But in the grand scheme of things, if you want to pitch songs to some of the biggest names in Nashville, TN you need a inside man. Its really unfortunate that in today’s music world, with big labels running the show the game has become more political than ever. More people trying to get there song cut than ever before, and its honestly harder to get cuts than 5 or 10 years ago but not impossible. There is less money going around but more people with there hands out to get some skin on the game.
Yes I’m being brutally honest, but if you know something about me, I’m not going to sugar coat the truth. And furthermore, you need a comrade on your side who’s fighting for your song, encouraging you even when there is allot of rejection, helping improve your craft, and who is putting there whole reputation and belief in your song.
